Craftbon exists because one installation business in Apeldoorn got stuck in its own admin. This is what we learned — and why we're building this software for 8,500 other installers in the Netherlands.
It started with a shoebox under a desk.
My father ran an installation business in Apeldoorn for 25 years. A great engineer, an even better person. He stopped growing at 4 people — not because there wasn't work, but because he couldn't handle the admin. Work orders on the kitchen table, invoices on Sunday evening, Wkb papers in a shoebox under his desk.
When I took over his bookkeeping in 2019, I saw what it cost him. Not just €40,000 a year in forgotten extra work and late-VAT fines. Also evenings, weekends, and the sense he no longer ran his own business. Software for the Heijmans of this world existed — for my father there was nothing.
Early 2026 we launched for early adopters in SME installation. One app where a work order is done in 30 seconds, the invoice goes out via iDEAL, and the Wkb dossier builds itself while you work. No consultant, no implementation, no 200 settings.
The product roadmap is driven directly by feedback from working installers — no consultants, no scope creep. What you see works today, and what's coming tomorrow was usually requested by a user.
